A group headed by Harold Charles, president of CEEPCO Contracting, visited the Montrouis office on April 22. The group included engineer Dr Lilia Abron, the president of PEER (Pollution, Environment, Energy and Resources), and Michel and Sophia Martelly of the Fondation Rose et Blanc; Michel Martelly also goes by the name of Sweet Micky – a well known Haitian singer. The group is interested in supporting DEED’s environmental work in any way it can—including assisting with any proposed media campaign focused on improving Haitians’ understanding of environmental issues.
